SO,I heard it was
42 degrees this morning in Leadville.
Guess I'm packing the Carhart jacket and an extra Army blanket and rain gear. I draw the line at long johns...suppose to be high summer.

It is probably going to be in the mid to high 30's for low temps until friday

Unlike the tropical climate of Taos, Leadville only has two seasons, July and Winter. You always need a window scraper and a jacklet in Leadville regardless of the season.

You know I used my defroster on Sat AM. Came home early SUN, 93 at my house in Lakewood.

Yup, had to scrape the windows Saturday morning.
Late that night I drove down to Penrose, just a couple hours southeast, and woke up Sunday AM to 70s.
Wow.
